We took a 15 day tour with Ertunga. Oh I don’t know where to start! Ertunga was the sweetest, kindest, most compassionate, thoughtful, funny, knowledgeable, personable and caring tour guide ever. He met our expectations and then some! Upon arriving to Istanbul, I told Ertunga I had a list of foods I wanted to try in Turkey. He said to give him the list. He talked it over with his driver Vecdi. On my list I had Lokma(donuts). A day or two later Vecdi, stopped the van in the middle of the road and jumped out. A lady was making Lokma on the sidewalk for free. Vecdi comes back with a pile of donuts for all of us! One day when we were touring Ephesus, it was so hot and we were in the building over the houses with mosaics. I thought I was going to pass out. Ertunga looked at me and asked “Are you ok?” I said I feel lightheaded. He took my almost empty water bottle and opened his and poured more water into my bottle. Who does that? Not the typical tour guide, I’m sure. He is so knowledgeable, it will blow your mind. We took the extensive Biblical tour and I now wish I would have recorded every lesson he gave because I can’t remember it all! The little details really stands out like, He made sure we had food sent to our room when we got in late to our hotel the night before our departure flight home. Ertunga also made sure we “got the best seat in the house” when dining for lunch in restaurants. I will never travel any other way because Ertunga and Vedci spoiled us rotten! There are so many things they did that I can’t put on this review because there were so many! I never knew what I was missing traveling on our own. You will not regret booking your tour with Ertunga for sure! I highly recommend!
