I had a fantastic tour of the 7 Churches area with my guide Ozgur! The old cultures that are the setting of the Christian scriptures were very different from my modern western world, and it is hard to explain the volumes of information I learned from this tour. There are castles shaped like crowns, tepidariums of lukewarmness, and thrones of pagan deities to be discovered here, all painting a vivid picture of life in the early AD century. From a technical perspective the tour ran without a hitch. Communication with the company was responsive. Pickup and drop off times were precise. Hotels were intelligently selected for quality and location. The company went the extra step to assist me in booking hotels for pre and post trip nights. Flights between Istanbul and Izmir (where the tour started) are numerous and easy. Highly recommended tour!
