Our guide, Mutlu, was brilliant, and arrangements for the tour worked well. He messaged us the day before to introduce himself and confirm the time and location for meeting. His explanations of the overview and history of the Ephesus site were clear, and the details were good. He answered all our questions really well, all in good English. He was a really considerate host, particularly as my husband walks pretty slowly, and found us plenty of places to sit down whilst stopping at each point of interest. The time absolutely flew by! Tip: try to book for the 5.00pm slot (the last one of the day) if possible, as the temperature is cooler and a lot of the site is in shadow by then. Fewer people around at that time, too! Highly recommended – good value for money.
