Our family of 4 from the US, including children ages 13 & 11, traveled with Ertunga for 14 days in July. It was a fantastic trip! Ertunga has a vast knowledge of the complex history and culture of Turkey. He explained it clearly and at appropriate times to give us a complete picture without overwhelming us. He was great with the kids and kept them interested the whole time. He has a wonderful sense of humor and he and our driver were a joy to travel with. We have rarely booked a foreign trip directly with a provider and have always gone through our trusted travel agency. However, from our first contact with Ertunga, we knew that he was legitimate and did not hesitate to book with him. He responded quickly to communications during planning and was always available during our travels if needed. The trip was thoughtfully planned out and he always gave us a preview of our day ahead each morning. He and our driver made sure we were comfortable and were always flexible. We felt it was a great value and he knows all of the local gems when it comes to food, and where to book optional activities of interest (ex. horseback riding in Cappadocia). We have traveled extensively and this is the best private tour we have had that was provided and guided entirely by one person in a single local agency . We ran into a couple of his other guides and their guests during the trip and they seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. Without hesitation, we recommend traveling with Ertunga. We plan to go back and visit Eastern Turkey with him in the future.
