After exchanging several emails with EE in planning our itinerary, our family of 6 booked his services for an 18-day tailor-made country tour around the Western, Southern, and Central parts of Turkey (Istanbul, Izmir, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Kas, Antalya, Konya, Cappadocia, and Ankara) and EE and his team never disappointed. Didem ably guided us around the main tourist sights in Istanbul over 3 days, while Alex – despite the shortened time given him due to twice-delayed flights – gave us a quickly condensed but complete Izmir city tour. From there, EE took over.
EE is a country historian, religious scholar, logistical expert, patient explainer (and “wait-er” – our family was constantly late!), skillful negotiator (our plentiful purchases prove it!), and an able photographer (our many pictures show it!) all rolled into one. This was evidenced every day with the numerous attractions and sights we went to, and the fun activities we did – horseback riding, paragliding, whitewater rafting, etc.. With his very able and reliable driver Urs behind the wheels of our roomy Mercedes Sprinter (providing unlimited daily free water bottles, complimentary WiFi, and charging station), the duo made our long road trips go by quickly with well-timed bathroom and store breaks, on-the-way attraction visits, and well-chosen lunch stops serving local food and delicacies.
EE also handled all our airport transfers, booked us 2 domestic flights, took care of all attraction/sight tickets, and selected beautiful hotels (Doga Thermal Health & Spa, Ece Boutique Sovalye Island, Club Barbarossa Hotel & Villas, and Fresco Cave Suites) for us to stay in.
It is not easy visiting and navigating a country for the first time, where some of its people do not speak English and a few (especially in Istanbul’s Grand and Spice Bazaars) are trying to rip you off, but EE and his supremely professional team did that seamlessly for us.
Because of these, and the many more things EE did all throughout our Turkey travels (there are too many to mention here, so find out and be surprised by him!), we heartily and highly recommend his services to anyone looking to visit and tour his beautiful country.
