We had a 10-day tour with Ertunga where it was seamless from beginning to end. Ertunga greeted us at the airport when we arrived in Istanbul and traveled with us for the entire 10 days! When we were looking at different private guides for Turkey, we quickly realized that Ertunga was the best option as he asked us what we liked and tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted. We also asked Ertunga for some hotel recommendations and they were all excellent places, especially Taskonaklar in Cappadocia. Ertunga is very knowledgeable and gives us a very thorough background on each of the building/sites that we went to. Not only that, Ertunga helped us understand how these ancient sites are connected together, giving us a big picture view on the entire history of Turkey. Ertunga is always patient and flexible, making us aware that since it is a private tour, we can do anything based on our schedule and he will continue to make adjustments to make sure that we see everything that we want to see. He also goes above and beyond to help us with everything that we needed. This goes from making sure we try all the local food that we asked to try, making sure we can eat when we arrive late at our hotel, giving us local bar and restaurant recommendations, and even helping us with our laundry because laundry prices at hotels are so expensive! Lastly, we felt like we were in Turkey with a friend (a very knowledgeable friend) who can have so many conversations with us with just about anything, from talking about our favorite Netflix shows, movies, being tourists, and simply making jokes with us. We are thankful to have found Ertunga and would love to go on another tour with him the next time we visit Turkey!
