This is a spiritual journey to the lands of the Book of Revelation – visit the Seven Churches of Asia Minor, all located in the Aegean part of Turkey
7 Churches of Revelation Tour Itinerary 3 Days
- 1th Day: Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira
- 2nd Day: Sardes, Philadelphia, Laodicea
- 3rd Day: Ephesus, Basilica of St. John and House of Virgin Mary.

1st Day: the Suffering Church - Compromising Church and the Adulterous Church.
- After we meet in Izmir, we will visit Smyrna, “the suffering church” and the (“Do not be afraid of anything that you are going to suffer. Indeed, the devil will throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will face an ordeal for ten days”), home of great 2nd century Bishop Policarp who was burned alive at the age of 85.
- Then we will continue to Pergamum, “the compromising church”; Revelation 2:12-16 describes the city as “where Satan’s seat is”, a reference to the altar of Zeus.
- Thyatira, “the adulterous church” that, as mentioned in the Revelations, tolerated the false prophets, Jezebel (Rev. 1: 11; 2: 18-29). After the tour overnight stay in Sardes.
2nd Day: the Dead Church, the Faithful Church, the Lukewarm Church
- After breakfas short drive to Sardes, “the dead church”, another of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Jesus told Sardes, “I know thy works, that thou hast a name, that thou livest, and art dead”(Rev. 3: 1-6).
- After visiting “the faithful church” of Philadelphia, we will proceed to Laodicea. Church chastised for being lukewarm, "You are neither cold nor hot" (Rev. 3: 15), and for being too comfortable incorporating pagan and Christian beliefs.
- After the tour transfer to Kusadasi and stay overnight.
3rd Day: the Loveless Church, House of Virgin Mary and Church of St. John
- We will visit Ephesus (“the loveless church”, the most important of the seven churches), House of Virgin Mary where she is said to have spent her final years and Basilica of St. John also known as Church of St. John the Theologian.
- After the tour, transfer to airport or hotel in the area.
