Turkey 13 Days Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrive and Transfer:
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer from airport to hotel, overnight stay in Istanbul
Day 2 - Istanbul City Tour
Your guide will meet you in hotel lobby and take you to Istanbul Old city tour. Byzantine Hippodrome (used for public entertainments organised by emperors), Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque, famous for its tiles), Topkapi Palace (imperial residence of ottoman sultans), Hagia Sophia (Church of Holy Wisdom, museum that used the be the biggest Orthodox church in the World), Grand Bazaar (the oldest and the largest covered market in the world); overnight stay in Istanbul
Day 3 - Istanbul-Kusadası:
You will have a two hour Bosphorus boat trip (during this tour you will see the bridges of Istanbul, Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, Anadolu and Rumeli fortresses and beautiful houses around the strait), and afterwards visit Spice Market (17 century structure that housed the majority of the city’s spice trade), Suleymaniye Mosque (majestic structure built by famed architect Sinan); after the tour, transfer to airport to fly to Izmir; transfer to hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi and overnight stay.
Day 4 - Ephesus Tour:
Tour of Ephesus (the biggest collections of Roman ruins in the Eastern Mediterranean), House of Virgin Mary (it is believed that the Mother of Jesus spent her final years in that house close to Ephesus) and Temple of Artemis Tour (one of the seven wonders of the ancient World); overnight in Selcuk or Kusadasi
Day 5 - Priene-Miletos-Didyma:
Priene, Miletos and Didyma tour – tour of 3 Ionian cities; Priene is one of the best preserved Greek cities, Miletos is famous for its’ philosophy school and the Apollo Temple in Didyma is in a great condition; overnight in Selcuk or Kusadasi
Day 6 - Kusadası-Fethiye:
Early departure from Kusadasi and 2 and half hour driving to Aphrodisias, the city of Aphrodite; after you visit this ancient city famous for its very well preserved stadium, you will drive 1 more hour to Pamukkale; during Pamukkale and Hierapolis sightseeing, you will have chance to enjoy the wonder of nature that is unique in the world, the ruins of the Roman spa city and to swim in the ancient pool; after the tour, transfer to Fethiye and overnight stay in Fethiye
Day 7 - Fethiye:
Free day in Fethiye OR boat trip in Oludeniz (we can suggest you different boat trip options); overnight stay in a hotel in Fethiye OR ona a boat
Day 8 - Fethiye:
Dalyan and Saklıkent gorge tour. You will have 30min boat tour and you have chance to see the Lycian tombs; you can also swim or sunbath on Iztuzu beach, then we will visit the national park of Saklıkent Gorge and afterwards drive back to hotel; overnight stay in Fethiye.
Day 9 - Fethiye-Cappadocia:
Transfer to Dalaman airport to fly to Cappadocia, arrival in Cappadocia, transfer to hotel and overnight
Day 10 - Cappadocia Tour:
Cappadocia tour: Soganli valley (an abandoned village with many cave churches), village of Mustafapasa (Sinasos), Keslik Monastery (another example of a monastery built in volcanic tuff stone), Red Valley (one of the most beautiful sunset spots in the area); overnight in Cappadocia
Day 11 - Cappadocia Tour:
Cappadocia tour: Dervent valley (also known as Imaginary Valley), Zelve (amazing cave town which housed one of the largest communities in the region), Pasabag (some of the nicest fairy chimney examples), Avanos (handmade pottery center), Goreme open air museum (ruins of churches carved into soft volcanic rock), Uchisar (the highest point in the area theat provides a magnificent panorama); overnight in Cappadocia
Day 12 - Cappadocia Tour:
Cappadocia tour: Kaymakli underground city (the most interesting examples among 36 underground cities), Ihlara valley (where you will spend two hours walking in the canyon, to discover the churches carved into the rocks and enjoy the nature), Agzikarahan (one of the best preserved caravanserais in turkey), after the tour transfer to Kayseri airport for Istanbul flight and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 13 - Transfer:
Transfer to airport for return flight
