During this tour we will take you to some of the most interesting historical and religious spots in the city. You will have chance to see highlights of Eminonu area - the heart of the walled Canostantinople and busy pier in modern Istanbul, and Eyup - part of the city with some of the most interesting spiritual centers and nice views...
We visit Chora museum, considered to be one of the most beautiful surviving examples of a Byzantine church.
Chora is famous for its amazingly vivid and well-preserved mosaics and frescoes depicting images from the life of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
The next stop would be the Greek orthodox patriarchate on the Golden Horn, the church that has dignity, grace, apostolic spirit and importance as much as any holy site in Jerusalem.

This tour also includes picturesque views of Constantinople’s old city walls.

Golden Horn & Istanbul Old City Itinerary And Further Details

After you meet your guide and driver, the tour will start from the Golden Horn. Golden Horn, the bay of Bosphorus is the natural harbour on the European side of the city, and the first stop during this tour. This is also the most important historical part of the city where ancient Constantinople was founded, surrounded with the ancient city walls that you can still see today.

Spice Market, our next stop, is one of the biggest bazaars in the city, and in the past, it used to be the center of the spice trade in the city.

We would then proceed to Pierre Loti Hill, one of the nicest viewpoints in Istanbul.

From there, we would continue to the Eyup Sultan Mosque, one of historical mosques in Istanbul that has a great spiritual importance for Muslims.

We would also go to Chora museum, considered to be one of the most beautiful surviving examples of a Byzantine churches, and famous for its well preserved mosaics and frescoes depicting scenes from the life of Jesus and the Virgin Mary.

The last stop would be the Greek orthodox patriarchate on the Golden Horn, the church that has apostolic spirit and importance as much as any holy site in Jerusalem.
