How much time you need in Ephesus?

You should spend at least 2 hours in Ephesus. It can take longer if you like to take pictures or if you want to visit the Terrace Houses, an area inside of Ephesus where the houses of rich Ephesians were located.

Is Ephesus open every day?

Ephesus is open every day, with opening times varying between 8 am and 6:30 pm from mid-April until the end of September, and 8:30 am - 6 pm during the winter.

What should I wear in Ephesus?

We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes and bring a bottle of water, hat, sun cream and umbrella for rainy or sunny days. It gets very hot during summer and it is almost impossible to find some shade in Ephesus. You can bring your cameras but tripods are not allowed.

You will need Turkish lira to buy the entrances. In all sights (except the House of Mary) you can purchase the entrance with credit card. If you do not have any Turkish lira on the day of the tour, your guide can pay for the entrances and you can pay him back at the end of the tour in USD or euros. If you decide to book Ephesus tour, we can also give you the price that includes the entrances.

All the vehicles are non-smoking and air-conditioned. We usually use Mercedes Sprinter and Mercedes Vito. You can see our vehicles

The driving distance between these two places is 30 minutes.

You can pay in advance (bank transfer, credit card or PayPal – there is a small additional fee for this kind of payment), or you can pay cash to your guide at the end of the tour.
