Review of the 7 Churches Tour Istanbul The first day I went exploring with my husband while my mother and the children stayed at the Hotel to rest from the trip. Didem came to pick us up the next day. It was from her that we learned that the hotel was built right next to the old wall that the Romans built around the city. We were so impressed. Didem is an outstanding guide and knows her history well. Although we did not see ALL of Istanbul she showed us what we could not miss. It was an exciting time and Didem was not only knowledgeable but also very kind and considerate especially since my mother could not walk well. Cappadocia It was a wonderful evening and a nice snowy experience for my family to come to this Cave hotel which was nice and warm. Nilay is also an outstanding and knowledgeable guide. Visiting the Imagination valley was quite an experience and my family enjoyed it very much. So too the underground city and the hot air balloon ride. The view was just breathtaking. She took us to see the Ceramics and the Carpet manufacturing places and we had avery interesting time looking at their products. There was more to see but we had to leave to see the main goal of our tour so we left for Izmir. Izmir – 7 Churches tour Unfortunate my mother’s suitcase got lost and we wasted a long time at the airport. However the time we spent here was memorable. Ertunga was great and he is also very knowledgeable about the biblical relations to the places. All of a sudden we could understand the letters that Jesus wanted John to write to the churches after Ertunga explained the background. It was enlightening and exciting for the bible and the word to come alive for us. Ephesus tour was superb even my teens enjoyed the stories. Logistics was perfect, Ertunga and team had organized a clean and well maintained private bus the whole trip. The hotels we stayed in were good as well. Love all the local food they brought us to. All in all it was an amazing holiday for us.
