Ephesus with Ertunga

If any of you are considering a private tour of Ephesus, our family hightly recomends Ertunga. He picked us up at our ship accompanied with a driver and an airconditioned mercedes van. He took us to the Virgin Mary’s house, Ephesus and the Terrece Houses. He was so responsive to us. Went slowly when we wanted to, and faster when desired. He was patient when we lingered and when we badgered him with our numerous questions. He was well informed and we didn’t stump him with any questions. Although he must have done the tour a million times he didn’t seem in the least bit bored. When we were indecisive about lunch he gave us options and didn’t pressure us. We ended up chosing the carpet school he recommended and didn’t regret it. The food was great and the carpet making fascinating. Ertunga wanted to make sure we were not pressured to buy anything which was so refressing. We wouldn’t have changed one thing a nd recommend him without any reservations. We are also dying to go back and let him show us more of his beautiful country. Wish we had more time.

Great private tour

We did a tour with Ertunga a few days ago. Everything went great. Ertunga met us at the cruise terminal and took us to the Virgin Mary’s house and Ephesus ruins. Ertunga was very informative and accommodating to our needs.

Private Ephesus Tour with Ertunga

We have just returned from a cruise ship tour with Ertunga from Private Ephesus Tour. We were so pleased with the tour and could find no fault. We were a party of four and we organised a full day tour. We were picked up on time from the cruise port, driven to the Virgin Mary’s house and Ephesus where Ertunga walked us round and explained the site to us. One of the highlights was the Terrace Houses, which although require a separate entrance fee, were truly worth it. We were taken to a restaurant to try some Turkish food, which although not included was very reasonably priced and very tasty. Ertunga gaves us many options on the day and we were able to make decisions about what we wanted to do and how long to stay. Overall, it was an amazing experience and a great way to see Ephesus.

Don’t visit Turkey without Ertunga

Our MCS cruise stopped at two turkish ports: Izmir and Istanbul. Since we are not fans of taking the ships’ tours, I searched for a Turkey private tour guide. After looking at several options, I decided to go with Ertunga. What a great decision!!

First of all, I need to say that we were a party of 18 (extended family) and Ertunga found two buses fully air conditioned with great drivers. Ertunga himself met us at Izmir and gave us the tour in perfect english. We visited Virgin Mary’s House, which is not a great deal, and Ephesus, one of the best well-preserved greek cities I have visited. I would point out that visiting this places with a highly educated local person makes all the difference. Everyone loved the site, including our teenage children and younger nephews.

Then we reached Istanbul, where another great guide met us at the exact scheduled time. This one spoke perfect spanish (we are mexicans and, even though must of us understand english, my folks preferred spanish). Needless to say, our guide spoke 5 languages and held a degree in history equivalent to Ertunga’s. Istanbul private tour was a great experience. We were only disappointed to have so little time to explore a city as rich as Istanbul. Nevertheless our guide managed to make as much as possible for us to get a taste of this amazing place. Even though the food was good, we could have skipped lunch in order to see more of Istanbul. The marketplace is nice, but you should not waste much time thus everything they sell is a cheap copy of what you normally find anywhere else.

If someone is visiting Turkey and wants to experience its culture in depth Ertunga is the right guide to contact.

An Unforgettable trip to Turkey

My recent trip to Turkey was an absolutely delightful journey through the history, art, dance, culinary delights and most of all the friendliest people.
Turkey is a fascinating country which takes you back to the Roman, Greek, Byzantine, and Ottoman Empires, a unique mixture of East and West. Explore the historical Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Pamukkale and Pergamon with the best, the kindest and most knowledgeable tour guide Ertunga. Nothing was impossible for Ertunga. He made our trip easy and enjoyable. Make sure you visit the land of whirling dervishes and Rumi’s beautiful poetry. Don’t miss the most amazing city of Istanbul and balloon rides in Kapadokya. I love it All and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Ertunga. What a great country

Hi i have been to Turkey recently and loved it, loved every second of it. What a great and pleasant country. We did not have a chance to explore lots of places we always wanted to because of our time schedule. But definitely we will go back to Turkey again. We have been to Istanbul 3 nights and went down to Ephesus, Pergamon & Pumukkale. for another three nights and our tour had ended in Kapadokya. Ertunga our tour guide, what a great guy, we couldn’t have asked for more. He showed us many places not know by many tour guides or could even find on the internet. We will definitely keep in touch and recommend him to all our friends who is planning a trip to Turkey. Thanks for everything Ertunga. We hope you have a profitable and great season. Good luck.P.s. I will send you some of our pictures taken together by e-mail.
