Private Bodrum Area Tour

Enjoy some of the highlights of the Aegean during this 3 day tour

This is a private tour itinerary that includes some of the most visited sites in the Aegean. On the first day you will be picked up from Bodrum for transfer to Sirince or Ephesus. On the way, you will have a tour of three Ionian cities – Priene (one of the best preserved Greek cities), Miletus (the city of philosophers) and Didyma (well preserved Temple of Apollo). After the tour you will be transferred to Kusadasi/Selcuk for an overnight stay.

On the second day you would be picked up around 08.00 am for your Pamukkale and Aphrodisias tour. After two hours driving we will first visit Aphrodisias and spend around one hour there. The highlight point of Aphrodisias is definitely a stadium. Afterwards, we will drive one more hour to Pamukkale. There, you will have two and half hours for sightseeing. You will see Pamukkale as a wonder of nature with its white thermal pools, and remains of ancient Hierapolis. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

On the third day you will have a tour of Ephesus and other sites around it. As you would be staying in Ephesus area, that day you would have more than enough time to visit Ephesus and other sites in the area: Temple of Artemis, basillica of St. John, Virgin Mary House, Ephesus Museum, Terrace Houses. As all our tours are tailor-made, we will visit only the sites you are interested in. After the tour we will transfer you to the hotel.

Testimonials

  • I just completed a private 2-day tour with Ertunga Ecir as my guide. We went to Hieropolis/Pamukkale, Aphrodisias, Miletos, Didyma, and Priene (skipped Ephesus, because I have been there several times already), and he was absolutely wonderful–friendly, prompt, very reliable and knowledgeable, flexible, and has excellent English. I can’t imagine a more helpful and comfortable guide to work with. he was just great, and I strongly recommend him to anyone needing a guide anywhere in Turkey!

  • Having already been to Ephesus, this cruise visit we arranged a private tour with Ertunga Ecir to visit Didyma, Miletus and Priene, all located just South of Kusadasi and easily covered in roughly 6 hours. Excellent tour, interesting historical sites with great explanation.
