About Pamukkale and Aphrodisias Tour

Two ancient cities and the miracle of nature

Aphrodisias and Pamukkale tour is another sightseeing option in the Aegean. Aphrodisias is on the way from Kusadasi to Pamukkale (2 hours driving), so sometimes we add it to the Pamukkale tour itinerary. In that way, in one day you can enjoy two historical sites and natural beauty. The most interesting points of Aphrodisias, the city of Aphrodite, are a big stadium, odeon, monumental gateway and the Temple of Aphrodite. The stadium is probably one of the best preserved examples in the world.

After Aphrodisias visit, we have another 1 hour driving to Pamukkale. In Pamukkale you can see well preserved parts of ancient Hierapolis, the theatre and the Necropolis, one of the biggest ancient graveyards.

Pamukkale or the “Cotton Castle” is a miracle of nature. It is famous for it’s white travertines and thermal pools. You can walk barefoot down the pools or swim in the ancient pool; if you are very interested in history of Hierapolis, you can also visit the museum. After the tour we will transfer you to back to Kusadasi, Denizli airport or another requested point.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If there is 2 to 4 persons in a group, we can do this tour as a driver guide, which would reduce the price. Please, contact us for details.

  • I just completed a private 2-day tour with Ertunga Ecir as my guide. We went to Hieropolis/Pamukkale, Aphrodisias, Miletos, Didyma, and Priene (skipped Ephesus, because I have been there several times already), and he was absolutely wonderful–friendly, prompt, very reliable and knowledgeable, flexible, and has excellent English. I can’t imagine a more helpful and comfortable guide to work with. he was just great, and I strongly recommend him to anyone needing a guide anywhere in Turkey!
